Paramedic FAQ's

See below for some common FAQ's

We are a private education company that specialises in the assessment tests and interviews used in the recruitment process of HSE Student Paramedic Recruitment Campaigns. We are not affiliated with the official process. While we are happy to provide general information, we would always recommend contacting the official sources directly for definitive information.

How do I become a paramedic?

The HSE National Ambulance Service (NAS) holds recruitment competitions for student paramedics periodically.

The most recent Student Paramedic competition was held in 2024. Closing date for applications 15th May 2024. Applications are taken via www.hse.ie when a recruitment campaign is launched.  The purpose of these competitions is to create a national panel for the position of student paramedic. This panel is used to fill training places for Student Paramedic in the HSE National Ambulance Services on the Paramedic Training Programme. If you would like to be kept informed on future recruitment campaigns when further information becomes available, you can register for our free job alert service here: https://careerservices.ie/job-alert-service
