Duration: 1-day: The length of each workshop is flexible, depending on the number of TY students participating. We have successfully run workshops for anywhere from 40 to 180 students. Our options include 2-hour, 3-hour, and 5-hour sessions, allowing us to run one, two, or three workshops within a single school day. This flexibility ensures that we can accommodate all students efficiently while delivering a comprehensive experience. The sessions are delivered at a date and time of your choosing.

Depending on your requirements, we have potential to include role-playing activities, mock interviews, and group discussions to engage students actively and encourage participation.

We prioritise the practical, real-world applications of the skills students will learn, like creating CVs, applying for placements, and preparing for interviews with confidence.

Tailored Content:

We can customise modules to fit the specific needs of your school’s TY program, ensuring relevance to the students’ interests and goals. Typical modules include Searching for a Work Placement, Applying for Work Placement, Preparing and Writing a CV, Writing a Cover Letter, Interview Preparation, Work Placement Review, etc.

Take-home Resources:

Students receive a detailed workbook they can refer to throughout the year, with optional access to an E-Learning platform for ongoing development.

The workshop doesn’t just prepare students for their work placements but also for future career development by teaching essential skills such as communication, time management, and problem-solving.

We can work with you to arrange times based on your school start time and lunch breaks.

An example schedule is provided below:

Based on 3 sessions with 2 classes in each.

8.45am to 10.45am

11.00am to 1.oopm

Lunch between 1.00pm and 1.45pm. 

1.45pm to 3.45pm

We would liaise with the school to decide on the preferred date. Optional access to the e-Learning platform would be for 12-months from this date.
