Acer HPAT Exam

The official hpat exam is run by a company called ACER. In order to sit your official hpat exam you will also need to register with ACER on their official website in order to take the official HPAT exam. Their website can be found here: https://hpat-ireland.acer.org/

The Health Professions Admission Test in Ireland, commonly known as the HPAT Ireland Exam is an admissions test used to assist with the selection of students into medicine and health professions degree programs. The test is run by ACER and measures a candidate’s logical reasoning and problem-solving skills as well as nonverbal reasoning and the ability to understand the thoughts, behaviour and/or intentions of people.

In addition to this, candidates must achieve the relevant scores in their Leaving Certificate. This is the state exam that all Irish students sit in their final year of Secondary School.

The HPAT exam takes place in February each year. regosterations for the HPAT open in November each year through the ACER website.
